I'm Mon
Hi
With over 10 years’ experience in working with infants and young children as an Early Childhood Educator, my approach as an Infant and Child Sleep Consultant is naturally underpinned by respecting that all children are unique, and that it is our job as parents and carers to nurture an authentic child. This means that I have no “one-size-fits-all” approach; all sleep plans and coaching techniques are tailored to your child’s temperament and needs, as well as your parenting style and philosophy.
I embrace the importance of developing a responsive partnership with you that is based on values of respect, inclusion and care. Collaboration with you means that I am better able to build a sleep plan that reflects your values and parenting style which, as a result, will help promote a partnership where you feel safe and confident in the coaching I provide.

In formulating your plan that considers the neurobiology of sleep as well as behaviour modification techniques, I offer science-based interpretations as to why your struggles are happening in the first place, so you have a better understanding as to how you got here and the "why" behind my suggested adjustments and coaching strategies.
Despite a common misconception, sleep coaching does not always mean letting your baby “cry it out”. Using a holistic approach, I consider sleep environment, sleep associations, nutrition, growth, settling techniques, biologically appropriate sleep/wake windows, age appropriate sleep biology, and more! There are settling techniques that range from no-cry methods to methods where you can expect some crying - it’s all about encouraging lifelong healthy sleep habits that fit with your family so that your baby (and you) get better quality sleep, and more of it!
